A lonely ornithologist meets a young guide who speaks the language of the birds.
Irene is an ornithologist, lonely in her 50s who, during her research project in the middle of the forest, rediscovers its tropicality after meeting Manuel, a young guide who speaks the language of the birds and brings up her dilemmas as a woman, mother and professional.

About Our Director
One of the most awarded actresses in Brazilian cinema. She began her career in John Boorman's super-production "The Emerald Forest" (Cannes, 1985), she was co-star in "Divine Love" (Sundance, 2019) and "The Dead Girl's Feast" (Cannes, 2008). "Pasargada" marks her debut as a director.
